Simons Observatory

The Simons Observatory provides a powerful means to study the Cosmic Microwave Background, Dark Matter, Dark Energy, neutrinos, galaxy clusters and the early, inflationary Universe.

It is located in the high Atacama in Northern Chile and is comprised of four different microwave instruments.

In February 2018, Professor Renée Hložek became chair of the Collaboration Council of the Simons Observatory.
